The Red Cross in Washtenaw County, Michigan offers free CPR training to the community. Being prepared in case of an

The online course operates optimally on a computer - DO NOT USE A PHONE. Below is the link to American Red Cross site to register and take online course. Choose the red bar which says : "Create Login." YOU MUST CREATE A NEW LOGIN. The login you create on Heart Shield CPR will not work on the Red Cross site.
If late to class you will not be able to participate. Bring evidence of the online course completion to to your skills class. Make sure you click "FINISH" at the end of your online course in the last page of the last module. The completion email from the Red Cross or a snapshot of the last page of the last module of the online course ( showing the words "SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED") will suffice as evidence of online course completion.
Certification cards will be emailed within 48 normal business hours after successful completion of both the online course and in-person skills course.
Less than 72 hours (3 days) notice: A 50% refund will be issued if cancel or a $25 rescheduling fee will apply. NO SHOWS or CANCELLATIONS on the same day are NOT eligible for a refund but may reschedule for a $25 fee
Please note, refreshments and meals are not provided during training. If the training venue is at a hotel, any refreshments and/or meals are restricted to registered hotel guest only. Students may inquire with hotel personnel to determine if these items are available for purchase.
